How To :: have a kicka$$ happy day !

Happy Fridayyyyyy!!! ❄️

As we ring in the New Year, I thought it would be fun to share my tips n tricks I think about and try to consistently follow to live a happy life with positive days. Don’t get me wrong, there are those days where it’s hard to stay positive … because, just life, ya know ? BUT these are pretty good starters to remain happy, productive & kicka$$ ! 👊🏼

Wake up early ! Wake up n get at it bright and early. I always feel happiest when I get the most out of my day and get sh!t done! The only way to get the most out of your day is to allow yourself the time to … so rise n shine sista. 🌅


Make a to – do list ! When you get up, sip on some coffee and plan out your day. If you have rushed mornings, no prob, make your list the night before! Plan out the stuff you have to do (school, work, meetings, etc.) and then add in some of the extra stuff you have been putting off lately. I always try to get one thing done I’ve been putting off everyday … switching out the holiday decorations, organizing the closet, cleaning out my car, etc. (the fun stuff) 📝

  • I have a daily planner that I record my workouts and cardio in, my class schedule and the main things I want to get done that week! I always feel happy and accomplished when I have a productive day #bossbabe

Keep a clean house ! There is nothing more calming to me than waking up and going to sleep with a clean, fresh smelling house. It can get super overwhelming when you let chores go for a couple days (or weeks hehe) and it all builds up. I do dishes, laundry and pick the house up everyday just to stay on top of thangs! Light a candle, keep up on the dishes and enjoy your cozy home!

Look good, feel good ! I honestly fail at being a girl because I actually hate wearing make-up. I usually just rock no make-up with my lash extensions everyday, but if I need a lil boost I’ll just throw on some powder foundation and do a light powder contour on my cheeks and call it good. I’m always feelin’ myself when I’m keeping up on my spray tans, my brows and my lashes. So, if you’re feelin’ down or just need a lil confidence, go get your nails done or do something fun for yourself! #selflove💕


Break a sweat ! I feel like I always say this #brokenrecord … but working out releases endorphins which literally make you happy! Your body, mental health and attitude will be feeling amazing / in high spirits when you get in a kick a$$ workout and break a sweat. Go push yourself, see what your body can do … I promise you won’t regret it ; ) 💦

Get outside ! No matter the weather, get your booty outside. Whether you’re going to the park or just running errands, it’s always a mood booster to see the sun, take in the fresh air and get out and about. Don’t get me wrong, lounging around the house a random day is always a relaxing feeling, but when you make it a habit it can put your mood in a slump! Feeling the winter blues ?? Try getting outside! 🌲🌳🌾



Eat healthy ! I always go to bed in a good mood when I have followed my diet for the day. Your body will thank you and you will be one step closer to reaching your overall goals : )

Do something to chase your dream ! Every person has a dream, a goal, a passion. I know there are things you have to do … work, school, etc. but after those things are done for the day, do something to make yourself one step closer to accomplishing your goals. No matter how big or small, steps add up ! Stop putting it off, or telling yourself you can’t do it because you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to and are consistent with … give it a try : ) 💭💭

Be a kind person ! Everybody has their own problems and day to day occurrences. Go out of your way to be that person that smiles, that is kind and is positive! Not only will you feel better about yourself, but you’ll attract the kind of people you want to spend time around. “Your vibe attracts your tribe”
