Todays blog post is all about the good stuff: sweets / cheats. Anybody who knows me knows I have the worst sweet tooth of all time. I’m constantly craving chocolate or chips or anything sweet. So I figured I would make a blog post of some of my favorite healthier ‘cheats’ for my fellow sweets lovers!! 🙂
P.S. These are just a few healthier alternatives to a few different staple cheat meals. Eat them in moderation just like you do any other food! I always fit them within my macros for the day so they aren’t actually a ‘cheat’ and they cure my craving! You’re taking care of a craving and still on track, win win!!
If you’re a chip lover, try out these babies!! They’re a healthier alternative to your classic Doritos and they taste just as good!! I definitely recommend to get the ‘ridges’ type for texture / taste purposes! I love the BBQ flavor 🙂
Lenny & Larry’s Complete Cookie
These cookies are a really yummy protein cookie! My favorite flavor is Snickerdoodle, but I really like the White Macadamia Nut cookies as well!! They have a bunch of different flavors like chocolate chip, peanut butter, etc. They’re available at Walmart, GNC, Complete Nutrition, a lot of gyms, etc. They’re pretty high in sugar though, so be careful! 🙂
I’m not gonna lie, it took me a long time to actually purchase one of these ice cream flavors. I immediately noticed how expensive they were and I always decided against it. One day I was craving some ice cream and saw the Halo Top and decided to give it a go. I’ve only tried the Birthday Cake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavors and I wasn’t a fan of the Birthday Cake. It seemed more chalky to me personally! But I really liked the cookie dough flavor!! The cookie dough flavor is definitely my go to for my ice cream cravings lately. They’re not terrible for you and they have added protein!
Sweet Potato Bites
I LOVE sweet potatoes. I love sweet potatoes even more that have cinnamon and brown sugar on top of them ; ) I have lately discovered my new favorite way (besides sweet potato fries of course) to cook my sweet potatoes: in bites!! I like cooking them in small bites and covering them in cinnamon & light brown sugar and they’re a perfect snack for when you’re having a sweet tooth! 🙂

Strawberries & Stevia
I love fruit but ever since I was little I have always loved dipping my strawberries in sugar. Whenever summer time rolls around and the strawberries are good again I always crave sugar dipped strawberries. Instead of eating a bunch of sugar, I use a healthier alternative: Stevia! It’s an all natural sweetener so it’s not as bad for you as sugar is and it brings the same sweet flavor as sugar does! 🙂
Boom Chicka Pop Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn

If you love kettle corn as much as I do, try out this Boom Chicka Pop Kettle Corn!! It’s really yummy and it is a healthier alternative to the original stuff! This brand also has a bunch of other flavors they sell like ‘sea salt’ ‘cheddar cheese’ ‘salted caramel’ etc. Love!!
